These terms and conditions apply to promotional vouchers, discount codes, coupons and complimentary promotional discounts offered by MoveCom (Pty) Ltd ("Move") through www.move.store and its authorised marketing channels.

1. General

1.1. These terms apply to complimentary promotional vouchers and discount offers issued or made available by Move.

1.2. These terms must be read together with Move's Terms & Conditions, Shipping Policy and Returns Policy, subject to applicable law.

1.3. Each promotion may have additional terms, such as its discount value, minimum spend, validity period, eligible products, redemption method and customer eligibility. These conditions will be disclosed with the relevant offer.

1.4. Where a promotion-specific condition differs from these general terms, the disclosed promotion-specific condition applies to that promotion, provided it is lawful.

2. Types of Vouchers and Eligibility

2.1. Promotional offers may include:

• Fixed-value discounts;
• Percentage discounts;
• Free or discounted delivery;
• Discounts on selected products, brands or categories; and
• Customer appreciation, goodwill or other complimentary promotional benefits.

2.2. Vouchers may be available to all customers, selected customers or defined customer groups, as specified in the relevant offer.

2.3. Unless the offer states otherwise, vouchers are redeemable only for eligible purchases made online at www.move.store.

2.4. These terms do not govern purchased gift cards or other prepaid stored-value vouchers, legally owed refunds or store credits, loyalty-programme benefits governed by separate terms, or promotional competitions. Those arrangements may be subject to different terms and legal requirements.

3. Redemption and Minimum Order Requirements

3.1. A voucher must be redeemed using the method described in the relevant offer. Where a code is required, it must be entered at checkout before payment is completed.

3.2. A promotion may require a minimum order value or the purchase of specific eligible products. Any such requirement will be stated in the offer.

3.3. Unless the offer states otherwise, a minimum order value is calculated on the eligible product subtotal, including VAT where applicable, excluding delivery charges and before the promotional voucher is applied. Any other discounts permitted in combination with the voucher are taken into account first.

3.4. Vouchers cannot be combined with other discount codes or promotions unless this is expressly permitted in the relevant offer and supported at checkout.

3.5. Any usage limits, including one use per customer, one use per order or a maximum number of redemptions, will be disclosed with the offer. Unless stated otherwise, a voucher may be used only once per qualifying transaction.

3.6. Promotional vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, used to purchase gift cards or applied retrospectively to completed purchases, unless required by law.

3.7. Unless the offer states otherwise, any unused portion of a fixed-value promotional discount is forfeited after redemption and cannot be carried over to another order.

3.8. Move will not charge an additional administration, processing or handling fee solely for redeeming a promotional voucher.

4. Validity and Expiry

4.1. The validity period and any expiry date or time will be disclosed with the promotional offer.

4.2. Unless an exact expiry time is specified, a voucher with a stated expiry date expires at 23:59 South African Standard Time (SAST) on that date.

4.3. A promotional voucher cannot be redeemed after expiry, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

4.4. These expiry rules do not override statutory validity or redemption rights applicable to purchased prepaid vouchers or other forms of customer credit.

5. Product and Promotion Exclusions

5.1. A promotion may be restricted to selected products, categories, brands or customers. Any material exclusions will be disclosed with the offer.

5.2. Qualifying products and offers are subject to stock availability, without limiting Move's obligations to honour promotional offers and consumer rights under applicable law.

5.3. Vouchers are valid only for the products, services or delivery benefits identified in the relevant promotion.

6. Shipping and Delivery

6.1. Product discount vouchers do not automatically include free delivery.

6.2. Delivery charges, free-shipping qualification and applicable surcharges are determined under Move's Shipping Policy, together with any relevant promotion-specific delivery conditions.

6.3. Delivery-specific vouchers apply only to the eligible delivery charges and any maximum discount disclosed in the relevant shipping offer.

6.4. Applicable delivery charges will be shown at checkout before the customer completes payment.

7. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

7.1. Goods purchased using a promotional voucher remain subject to Move's Returns Policy and all applicable statutory consumer rights.

7.2. Where a refund is due, the refund will ordinarily be based on the amount actually paid for the returned goods after the promotional discount has been allocated to those goods, subject to applicable law.

7.3. A complimentary promotional discount does not itself have a cash refund value.

7.4. Whether a redeemed voucher can be reinstated following a cancellation or return will depend on the circumstances, the terms of the offer and applicable law. Move will not use this clause to reduce or deny a statutory remedy.

7.5. Nothing in these terms restricts a customer's statutory entitlement to a refund, repair, replacement, cancellation or other remedy.

8. Misuse and Unauthorised Redemption

8.1. Vouchers may not be fraudulently generated, duplicated, altered or redeemed using unauthorised methods.

8.2. Move may refuse redemption or take reasonable corrective action where misuse, fraud or deliberate manipulation is established, subject to applicable law.

8.3. Any action under this section will be fair, reasonable and proportionate.

9. Changes to Promotional Offers

9.1. Move may change or discontinue future promotional campaigns in accordance with applicable law.

9.2. Changes will not retrospectively remove validly acquired benefits or rights under an existing promotional offer.

9.3. Move will endeavour to resolve genuine technical voucher errors or redemption disputes fairly and consistently with the offer made to the customer.

10. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights

10.1. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

10.2. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer rights or remedies under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 or any other applicable legislation.
