Swavet Foaming Pessaries 25 g

A uterine oxytetracycline pessary from Swavet for the treatment of bacterial infections following difficult birth or retained placenta in cows, sows, and ewes. Each 25 g pessary contains Oxytetracycline 2 000 mg. In the presence of 20 ml fluid, 2 litres of foam are produced to distribute the antibiotic throughout the uterine cavity. Reg. • Active ingredient: Oxytetracycline 2 000 mg per pessary
• Indications: bacterial infections after difficult birth or retained placenta in cows, sows, and ewes
• Cows dose: 1 pessary once only (2 in cases of severe infection)
• Sows and ewes dose: half a pessary once only; consult a veterinarian if further treatment is required
