Kyron Maxisulf LA 500 ml

Maxisulf LA is a long-acting injectable solution of Sodium Sulphadimethoxine 40% m/v for the treatment of foot rot, navel-ill, joint-ill, and pneumonia in livestock, coccidiosis and bacterial scours in calves and lambs, and strangles in horses. Reg. No. G3657 (Act 36/1947); Namibia Reg. No. NS0 V14/17.1.7/1243 (Act 13/2003).

• Active ingredient: Sodium Sulphadimethoxine 40% m/v
• Indications: foot rot, navel-ill, joint-ill, pneumonia in stock; coccidiosis and bacterial scours in calves and lambs; strangles in horses
• Species: cattle, sheep, pigs, horses
• Day 1 loading dose: 2 ml per 10 kg body mass
• Days 2 to 5 maintenance dose: 1 ml per 10 kg body mass
• Route of administration: subcutaneous or slow intravenous injection
• Meat withdrawal: 7 days
• Milk withdrawal: 2 days
• Pack size: 500 ml

Administer the loading dose on day 1 followed by the maintenance dose on days 2 to 5; observe all withdrawal periods.
