Based on tar acids and carbolic acid, this disinfectant is designed for routine biosecurity cleaning in livestock production environments including cattle kraals, piggeries, poultry houses, milking parlours, and abattoirs.

The formulation combines tar acids, tar oils, and soap to deliver broad spectrum disinfecting action on hard, non-porous surfaces. A.C.T. Cleaning Fluid has a carbolic acid (Rideal-Walker) coefficient of 5, confirming its efficacy against common pathogens encountered in agricultural settings.
