Zoetis Ranox

A rafoxanide oral drench for cattle, sheep and goats. Ranox treats adult liver fluke and wireworm in cattle, and nasal bot larvae, liver fluke and wireworm in sheep and goats.

• Active ingredient: Rafoxanide 3.0% m/v
• Dosage form: Suspension
• Dosage for sheep and goats: 2.5 ml per 10 kg live mass, given as an oral drench
• Dosage for cattle: 12.5 ml per 50 kg live mass, given as an oral drench
• Treatment interval: Not more often than every 3 weeks
• Withdrawal period: 28 days between dosing and slaughter for human consumption
• Lactating animals: Do not dose animals whose milk or milk products are intended for human consumption
• Pulpy kidney: Vaccination of sheep against pulpy kidney disease is recommended before dosing
