Zoetis Valbazen Ultra

An albendazole oral drench for cattle, sheep and goats that treats roundworm, lungworm and milk tapeworm. Valbazen Ultra also aids in the control of adult liver fluke in sheep and goats and is ovicidal, preventing roundworm eggs present at dosing from hatching.

• Active ingredient: Albendazole 7.6% m/v
• Dosage form: Suspension
• Dosage for sheep and goats: Dilute 1 part product with 3 parts clean water, then give 2 ml of the diluted product per 10 kg body mass orally (2.5 ml per 10 kg for liver fluke)
• Dosage for cattle: 1 ml of undiluted product per 10 kg body mass, given orally
• Diluted product: Not to be used after 6 weeks
• Withdrawal period: 12 days for cattle and 10 days for sheep and goats between dosing and slaughter for human consumption
• Milk: Milk from treated animals may not be used for human consumption or manufacturing, or mixed with normal milk, within 72 hours of dosing
• Pulpy kidney: Vaccination of sheep and goats against pulpy kidney disease is recommended before dosing
• Ewes: Do not exceed the recommended dosage during mating or in the first month of pregnancy
