Zoetis Cydectin 1%

An injectable moxidectin solution for cattle that treats internal parasites and kills sucking lice and mange mites. Cydectin 1% also controls blue ticks and aids in the control of Parafilaria (false bruising).

• Active ingredient: Moxidectin 1% m/v
• Dosage form: Injectable solution
• Dosage for cattle: 1 ml per 50 kg live mass, injected under the loose skin in front of or behind the shoulder
• Other species: Can be injected subcutaneously or intramuscularly in sheep, and intramuscularly in ostriches
• Withdrawal period: 28 days between the last treatment and slaughter for human consumption
• Milk: Not to be used in animals producing milk for human consumption
• Injection: Do not inject intravenously
• Registration number: G1463 (Act 36/1947)
