Zoetis Cydectin LA 500 ml

A long-acting injectable moxidectin solution for sheep that protects against a range of roundworms for up to 133 days. It is given as a subcutaneous injection at the base of the ear or high on the neck behind the ear.

• Active ingredient: Moxidectin 2% m/v
• Dosage form: Injectable solution
• Dosage: 1 ml per 20 kg body mass
• Persistency: 133 days against wireworm and brown stomach worm, and 63 days against bankrupt worm, hookworm and nodular worm
• Presentation: 500 ml flat plastic pillow pack
• Withdrawal period: 91 days between the last treatment and slaughter for human consumption
• Milk: Not to be used in sheep producing milk for human consumption
• Injection: Do not inject intramuscularly or intravenously, and do not use in young, undernourished or emaciated animals
