Irrigation Universe Valve Foot Strainer 32mm is a non-return foot valve with an integral strainer screen, designed to be fitted at the base of a pump suction pipe to maintain pump prime and prevent debris from entering the pump body. Foot strainer valves are essential components in irrigation pump installations where the suction line draws water from a dam, river, borehole, or storage tank.

The check valve mechanism prevents water from draining back down the suction pipe when the pump stops, maintaining prime and enabling the pump to restart without manual priming. The strainer basket filters debris, protecting the pump impeller from damage.
