Virbac Dexiron 200 100 ml

Dexiron 200 is an injectable iron dextran complex for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anaemia in piglets and calves. Each ml contains Iron dextran complex 20% m/v. Reg. No. G2813 (Act 36/1947); Namibia Reg. No. V06/19.3/611 NS0.

• Active ingredient: Iron dextran complex 20% m/v
• Indications: prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anaemia
• Species: piglets and calves
• Piglets dose: 1 ml per animal (1,5 to 2,0 kg body mass); administer by intramuscular injection in the neck just below the ear on the third day of life
• Calves dose: 2 to 4 ml per animal by intramuscular injection in the first week of life
• Route of administration: intramuscular injection
• Presentation: 100 ml glass vials
• Storage: below 25 °C; protect from light

Administer on the third day of life for piglets and within the first week for calves to prevent iron deficiency anaemia during the neonatal period.
